Tone Bath and Body Wash Review

 Tone Body Wash

(This product was provided to me by BzzAgent in exchange for an honest review.)

You can never have enough body washes, right? At least that's what I told myself when I received this BzzCampaign from BzzAgent.
This is a new product line from Dial. The claim is that they are made with spa-inspired ingredients, and these will leave your skin feeling more moisturized with a natural feeling softness. I received the Petal Soft fragrance, which is Pink Peony and Rose Oil.

Tone Body Wash

Initial Impressions: The first time I used this, I was pleasantly surprised at the floral scent. Straight from the bottle, the scent was really overwhelming to me and I wasn't sure that I was going to be able to use it. But in the shower, on my loofa, it was a whole different experience. The floral tones were lighter, softer, and less overwhelming. The product is thick but not lotiony in appearance (it looks more like a gel, and yes, "lotiony" is a technical term!), and it lathers very well. I actually used too much when I first squeezed it out, because you're just not sure how it works. I liked the way my skin felt immediately post-shower, and didn't feel the need to apply lotion to get that moisture back in my skin. Throughout the day, my skin continued to feel moisturized. The floral scent lingered a little post shower, but within 45 minutes, it was no longer there.
The second day I used this, I wasn't as impressed. But I didn't use as much as I did the day before, because I was really cautious. So I was left wondering if this was a product I would have to use a lot of to get good results.

Final Impressions: With continued use, I have noticed this does make my skin moisturized, and feel moisturized for a long time. But as someone that likes a lingering fragrance (because I really don't wear perfumes), this left very little to be desired. And after use, I noticed it really didn't linger much after a shower. So I could follow up with a lotion if I chose to for the scent, but I didn't really need to for the moisture. I guess I'm used to Bath and Body body washes and lotions, that smell amazing, but you almost need a lotion after your shower because they don't moisturize as well. Plus, finding a lotion to go with this body wash has proved a little difficult, at least with what I currently own.
I would still recommend this, though. It's a reasonable price point, and it does live up to its claims.
